This along with the prior planetarium visit will allow the scouts to earn their Astronomy Belt loop and go further by earning the Pin. Click here for the Astronomy Activity Sheet . Members from the Tar River Astronomy Club will be on hand to answer questions and let us view the stars with their telescopes! Let's hope for clear skies that night! Directions from Rocky Mount, NC Take US 64 West. Take the first exit after crossing over I-95. Turn left onto Old Carriage Road. Go approxiamately 2 miles and the entrance to the Soccer Fields will be to the right.
